The Tamil Nadu Department of Survey and Land Records has introduced a new online service called “Integrated Land Document” to make it easier for landowners to access important property records digitally.

The service was launched by Revenue and Disaster Management Minister K.K.S.S.R. Ramachandran at the Directorate of Survey and Settlement in Chepauk, Chennai. Along with this, another online facility called the “Patta Transfer Details Report” has also been introduced to help the public track patta transfer information for specific survey numbers.

Integrated Land Document Service

Earlier, landowners had to download land-related records separately from the Tamil Nadu e-services portal, such as:

- ‘A’ Register

- Chitta

- Field Measurement Sketch (FMB / Field Map)

These documents were often required when submitting property records to banks, government offices, and other institutions.

With the new initiative, these three important land records will now be combined into a single integrated document, making it more convenient for property owners to access and submit official land information.

Patta Transfer Details Report

The government has also introduced a new online report service that allows the public to check patta transfer details related to a particular survey number. This will improve transparency and accessibility in land administration.

Online Access for Landowners

Property owners can access these services through the official Tamil Nadu e-services portal:

Initiative Announced in Assembly

The Integrated Land Document system was announced during the 2021-2022 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly session. Following the announcement, the National Informatics Centre (NIC) developed the system, which has now been launched for public use.

This digital initiative aims to simplify land record management, reduce paperwork, and improve transparency in property documentation across Tamil Nadu.
