MTC ITI Apprenticeship 2026 - 2027: Rs 14,000 Monthly Stipend, Recruitment Camp on September 2

The Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) has invited applications from eligible ITI-qualified candidates from Tamil Nadu for one-year ITI apprenticeship training for 2026–2027. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹14,000 during the apprenticeship period.

MTC Managing Director Thiru T. Mohan announced that a special recruitment camp for MTC ITI apprenticeship 2026–2027 will be conducted on September 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

The recruitment camp will be held at the MTC Industrial Training School, Chromepet. Eligible candidates can attend the camp and submit their applications for the apprenticeship training.

MTC ITI Apprenticeship 2026 Eligibility

Candidates who have completed ITI courses in the following trades are eligible to apply:

- Mechanical Motor Vehicle

- Diesel Mechanic

- Auto Electrician

- Electrician

- Fitter

- Welder

- Painter

- Turner

MTC Apprenticeship 2026 Stipend

Under the MTC apprenticeship training programme, selected candidates will receive a ₹14,000 monthly stipend for one year. The programme offers ITI-qualified candidates an opportunity to gain practical training and industry experience.
