Tamil Nadu Police Announces Key Transfers of Senior Officers

The Tamil Nadu government on Wednesday transferred senior police officer V. Varunkumar, who was serving as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Crime Branch-Crime Investigation Department (CB-CID), and posted him as the DIG of the Special Task Force (STF) in Erode.

DIG V. Vikraman, who had been on compulsory wait, has been appointed as the DIG of the CB-CID.

In another transfer, Superintendent of Police (SP) B. Ragupathi, who was also on compulsory wait, has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Pallikaranai, in the Tambaram Police Commissionerate.
