Service tax can be paid until 30th April
The central government has extended the deadline for paying service tax till 30th April.
It is informed that the service taxes to be paid for the period from 1st October 2016 to 1st March 2017 can be paid between 25th April and 30th April.
Earlier the deadline for paying service taxes was fixed as 25th April. As the deadline has been extended now for further 5 days, Lakhs of taxpayers will benefit by this extension.
