Uthama Villain to be released today at 6 PM

The film Uthama Villain has been jointly produced by Lingusamy and Kamal Haasan. Kamal Haasan has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film. His friend and actor Ramesh Aravind has directed the film. The film Uthama Villain has Kamal Haasan, Andrea, Pooja Kumar, Urvashi, Jayaram, Nassar, late veteran director K Balachandar in the cast. The film is being released worldwide in above 1500 theatres and in more than 400 theatres in Tamil Nadu.
It was earlier announced that the film will be released on 1st May but the film was not released in Tamil Nadu. The film was to be screened at 8 AM but the shows were cancelled. When enquired about this, there was information that there were some financial problems between Lingusamy and distributors. Because of this, the film was not released in the last moment. Talks between the producer and the distributors were held in Chennai and it is understood that the matter was settled amicably.
Now it has been announced that the film will be released at 6 PM.
