2 lakh application forms for B.E this year

About 2 lakh application forms are getting printed for Engineering studies this year. Necessary arrangements and works are on the go in full swing at Anna University.
Following the completion of twelfth standard examination on 31st March, exam paper valuation is carried out. Most of these students eye on Engineering for their under graduation course. Students and their parents have already started calculating the cut off mark and total mark in math, physics and chemistry subjects.
In Tamil Nadu, there are about 570 engineering colleges in which 2 lakh seats are available. Out of this, one lakh and sixty thousand seats are filled through counseling which is annually conducted by Anna University.
The university has decided to print 2 lakh and 40 thousand application forms for the same. The initial stage works are on the go for printing. The university has also devised plans to bring online application method this year.
However, taking under consideration the students from villages, conventional method of applying through application forms is continued this year too. Hence it is said that there is going to be no change in the process of application. Applications will be open before two or three days of the result announcement date.
