Government High Schools to close on 22nd April for Summer Vacation & reopen on 1st June!

There are 35177 primary schools, 9750 middle schools, 5602 High Schools, and 6299 Senior Schools in Tamil Nadu.
Over 6 Lakh teachers (male & female) work in these schools.
1.4 Crore students study in these schools.
+2 examinations started in March and ended by 31st March.
SSLC examinations started on 19th March. This is getting over with Social Science Examination scheduled on Friday, 10th April.
+1 examinations have already been conducted.
Examinations for the students of 6th Standard till 8th Standard will be completed by 20th April.
However, examinations in government high schools and government senior schools are getting completed only on 22nd April.
Hence, summer vacation will be during 23rd April and 31st May.
Primary schools and middle schools will be working till 30th April. These schools will have summer vacation during 1st May & 31st May.
All schools are set to reopen on 1st June.
