Sabarimala Mandala Pooja on December 27

The annual Mandala Pooja ritual, after adorning the the idol of Lord Ayyappa in gold, will be celebrated on December 27.
The ritual will be held under the guidance of Thantri Kandararu Rajivaru in the presence of Melsanthi Krishnadas Nampoothiri at 1 pm. The ritual will be held after Kalabhabhishekam on the idol of Lord Ayyappa at 12.30 pm. As part of the Kalabhabhishekam ritual, the thantri will conduct Brahmakalasa pooja at the Mandapam at 10.30 am.
The annual Makaravilakku will be celebrated on January 15 after adorning the Thiruvabharanam on the idol of Lord Ayyappa.The hill shrine of Lord Ayyappa will be closed on January 20 morning, marking the conclusion of the annual two-month long pilgrimage season.
