Prices of poultry products in Namakkal have increased following a decision taken at a recent traders’ meeting.
Egg Prices Increased
Egg prices in Namakkal have been revised upward after a meeting of the National Egg Coordination Committee.
Previous rate: ₹4.80 per egg
New rate: ₹5.00 per egg
Increase: ₹0.20 per egg
The price hike was implemented to support poultry farmers amid rising production costs.
Chicken Prices Also Rise
Chicken prices have also seen an increase:
Broiler chicken (live): ₹85/kg ➝ ₹92/kg (↑ ₹7)
Country chicken (retail): ₹103/kg
The revision was decided during a poultry traders’ coordination meeting held in Namakkal.
