Trichy–Chennai Flight Services Increased to Six Daily Operations from March 29
In a major boost to domestic air connectivity in Tamil Nadu, flight services between Tiruchirappalli and Chennai are set to increase to six daily flights starting March 29. The expansion is expected to benefit business travellers, students, and frequent flyers commuting between central Tamil Nadu and the state capital.
The services operate between Tiruchirappalli International Airport and Chennai International Airport.
IndiGo Expands Trichy–Chennai Route
The additional flights will be operated by IndiGo. Previously, flight frequency on this sector had been reduced, with only limited daily services operating. The airline later increased operations to three daily ATR flights and has now restored the full six daily services.
