Gold Prices Fluctuate Sharply - Drop by ₹2,000 in Morning, Rise Again by Evening

Gold prices witnessed sharp fluctuations on Saturday, with rates falling significantly in the morning and rebounding by evening.
In the early hours, the price of gold jewelry fell by ₹2,000 per sovereign in the domestic market. However, by evening, the price rose again by ₹50 per gram, reflecting continued volatility in the precious metals market.
As per the latest update, the price of 22-carat gold stands at ₹12,000 per gram, and ₹96,000 per sovereign.
Meanwhile, the price of silver remains unchanged at ₹190 per gram.
Experts attribute the fluctuation to global market movements and investor activity ahead of the festive season. Jewelers expect the prices to remain unstable over the next few days due to ongoing international trends.
