Tamil Nadu Weather Alert: Rain with Thunder Likely Till August 28

The IMD has forecast moderate rain with thunder, lightning, and gusty winds in parts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal on August 26 and 27, 2025. The rainy spell may continue till August 28.
Chennai and suburbs will see partly cloudy skies with chances of light to moderate showers.
Maximum temperature may rise by up to 3°C above normal in some districts from Aug 26–29.
