Prospects of temperature shooing up by 9 Degrees in Tamil Nadu
The Deputy Director General of the Chennai Meteorological Centre, S. Balachandran, informed:
�There are prospects of the temperature shooting up to 9 Degrees Fahrenheit as compared to the normal level in the interior districts of Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Trichy, Karur, Dindigul, and Madurai.
Further, the humidity in the wind in these areas will increase along with the temperature leading to the prospects of excessive sweating!
As recorded at 5.00 PM yesterday (Friday, 22d March), a maximum temperature of 102 Degrees Fahrenheit was at Karur Paramathi, Dharmapuri, Salem. Tiruthani and Vellore recorded 101 Degrees. Trichy and Madurai recorded 100 Degrees.
