Another superb day for chance in rains in Chennai and Tamil Nadu with break monsoon like conditions prevailing.

The convergence which happened yesterday in Salem today might happen closer to Coast in North TN belt around Tirupathi-Vellore-Tiruvallur-Chennai belt. Today parts of Thoothukudi, Ramanathapuram and Tiruppur districts might get to see some action.

Chennai, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur belt, Pudukottai, Thanjavur, Sivaganga, Nagapattinam, Tiruvannamalai, Vellore, Villupuram, Virudhungar, Madurai and Dindigul (Kodai areas).

Yesterday awesome clouds developed around Chembarabakkam-Poonamalle belt and never moved in because of poor steering. Right now too steering is bad but later in the evening / night the steering is improving and clouds are expected to move from inland rather staying stagnant. As i said earlier, these storms are too difficult to pick up.

Break monsoon like conditions to continue

Monsoon will continue to remain in break mode and next monsoon low expected to form around 6/7th July pulling the axis down which is stuck up in Himalayas.
