Widow of fisherman receives cheque from CM

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Ms. J. Jayalalitha has handed over a cheque of Rs. 5 lakh to the widow of a fisherman from Kanyakumari who was working in Saudi Arabia.
S. Mathivannan was shot dead by Iranian pirates while fishing off the shores of Saudi Arabia. He worked on a contract basis with a private entrepreneur. His widow, S. Mari Bellaji expressed her thanks to the Chief Minister and the Tamil Nadu government.
