BSNL reduces roaming rates!

TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) had ordered last month to reduce the national roaming & sms charges.
It was decided to reduce roaming charges by 40% and SMS charges by 75%.
The new rates were to be effective from 1st May.
Accordingly, all private telecom service providers announced reduction in rates.
Following this, BSNL also has announced reduction in roaming & SMS charges.
Incoming calls on roaming mode will be charged 40% less. Incoming STD calls on roaming will be charged 23% less. Local calls on roaming mode will be charged 20% less.
Local & country-wide SMS charges will be reduced by 75%.
