Vodafone and Idea slashes down roaming charges

National roaming charges are slashed up to 75 per cent by Vodafone and Idea has done the same by 40 per cent with effect from today, 1st May. This is done as per the TRAI instructions. For local texts sent during roaming, 0.25 paise will have to be spent compared to one rupee which earlier prevailed.
