Poor students can apply to private colleges under Free Education Scheme!

Applications are invited from poor students for admission in private colleges and government or government-aided colleges accredited by Chennai University in the districts of Chennai, Thiruvallur, and Kanchipuram for the academic year 2015-16.
Poor students, orphaned students, and students born to agriculture-based wage-earning parents, students who are the 1st generation entering college graduation, children of widows or women destitute by husbands will be given priority.
Annual family income should not exceed Rs. 2 Lakhs.

Led-up applications attached with the necessary certificates should be submitted at the registrar office within 15 days after the results are declared.
