Shruthi Hariharan made her debut in the Tamil film Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe. She has been signed for the female lead role in a film which is to be directed by Balaji Sakthivel. Speaking about this, Shruthi Hariharan said, �Few months back I got a call from Balaji Sakthivel�s crew. At that time I was busy in Kannada films, hence I could not accept the offer. At this juncture, when I was participating in the shooting at Thailand, I got a call again. Kannada cinematographer Siddhartha urged me to participate in the audition. As per his advice I participated in the audition. Since Balaji Sakthivel liked my acting, he immediately signed me. The shooting of the film is to commence soon.�
