Director K. Balachandar passed away

K. Balachandar (84) who directed over 100 movies passed away today owing to general sickness in a hospital in Chennai today. He suffered with breathing trouble following which he was admitted in a hospital in Alwarpet. His condition was told to be very critical last Monday.
Cinema actors including Rajnikanth met him in the hospital, and there were other politicians who visited too. His condition was said to have got stabilized. Amidst this, following failure of treatment, his condition collapsed and passed away.
