JCD Prabhakar Elected Unopposed as Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker

J. C. D. Prabhakar was elected unopposed as the new Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly and officially assumed office. Udhayanidhi Stalin and K. A. Sengottaiyan jointly escorted him to the Speaker’s chair as per Assembly tradition.
Meanwhile, Ravishankar was elected unopposed as Deputy Speaker. Several MLAs urged the new Speaker to maintain neutrality and ensure equal opportunities for all parties during Assembly proceedings.
