Chennai Metro to Run on Saturday Schedule on April 3 for Good Friday
Chennai Metro Rail Limited has announced that metro train services across Chennai will operate as per the Saturday schedule on April 3, in view of the Good Friday public holiday.
Metro services will run from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM, ensuring smooth and convenient travel for commuters throughout the city.
Train Frequency Details
Peak Hours (8 AM – 11 AM & 5 PM – 8 PM): Trains every 6 minutes
Non-Peak Hours (5 AM – 8 AM, 11 AM – 5 PM, 8 PM – 10 PM): Trains every 7 minutes
Late Hours (10 PM – 11 PM): Trains every 15 minutes
This adjusted timetable follows the standard holiday pattern, where metro services operate on a weekend schedule to match reduced yet steady passenger demand.
