Absolute Carnage or OMG is the word i have to say Papansam Dam records whopping 451 mm. While Manimuthar Dam records 379 rain rainfall ending 8.30 am on December 1st, 2017 in last 24 hours.

District collectors of Chennai, Kanchipuram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, Dindigul, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Theni, Villupuram, Salem, Tiruvannamalai, Tiruvallur & Pudukottai have declared holiday today (Friday, 1st December).

Extreme Rains are lashing Nellai and Kanyakumari belts. Both Papanasam Dam and Manimuthar Dam have got 300 mm in last 12 hours. At this rate, Papanasam dam will overflow in a day or two.
