The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that a cyclonic format has developed in the upper layers of the atmosphere over the Bay of Bengal. Because of this, there are prospects for medium rain in the northern districts of Tamil Nadu including Chennai.

Stratified Clouds to give drizzles / light steady rains for a while before fizzling out in City. Meanwhile down South Sivaganga, Pudukottai, parts of nagapattinam near Maylidathurai-Srikazhi belt, Parts of Ariyalur around Sendurai are getting rains too.

Monsoon has made an onset over the state of Tamil Nadu. In fact, Southwest Monsoon has also covered Chennai. However, rains remained absent from Chennai. Though, the interior and southern districts of Tamil Nadu.
