Chennai rain update (Tamil Nadu Weatherman)
Chennai will get rains on Monday after which there will be break in rains in the City. While Ghats in Nilgiris, Nellai, Kovai and Kodaikanal belt will see good rains. Other interiors will join too.

Fresh low pressure likely in Bay of Bengal, may intensify into a depression
While a cyclonic storm is on its way in Arabian Sea, there is a fresh weather system brewing in Bay of Bengal. A cyclonic circulation is seen over North Andaman Sea and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal.

The low pressure area in Arabian Sea is expected to become a strong Cyclone and move away to Oman / Yemen. But why is it going to Oman/Yemen coast instead of Pakistan or Gujarat or Indian coast.
