Passengers will have to pay up to 30 percent more for brand trains
New trains with brand names like Humsafar, Tejas and Utkrisht Double-decker Air-conditioned Yatri (UDAY), are likely to be pressed into service this year with the hike in fare ranging between 15 and 30 percent over the regular tariff.

Permanent augmentation of Trains
Train No.16605/16606 Mangalore Central - Nagercoil - Mangalore Central Ernad express trains will be permanently augmented by 1 Second Class Chair Car ex. Mangalore Central from 14.04.2016 and ex. Nagercoil from 15.04.2016.
