Changes in the pattern of suburban train services
Due to Line Block to facilitate engineering works between Washermenpet Yard - Basin Bridge, changes will be made in the pattern of suburban train services on 10th and 12th & 13th December, 2017 as explained below.

Mountain train services restored in Coonoor Hills
The mountain train service between Coonoor and Mettupalayam has been resumed. The train service had been stopped due to the heavy rains for a period of 5 days.

Change of rake for double decker train for two days
Due to operational reasons, Train No.22625/22626 Chennai Central - KSR Bengaluru City Double Decker Rakes will be replaced with regular Air Conditioned Chair Car Coaches for two days.

Train No.12512 Thiruvananthapuram - Gorakhpur (via Chennai Central) Raptisagar express, scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram at 06.15 hrs. on 03.12.2017, has been rescheduled.

As the Railway Board has come up with an idea to distribute Closed User Group (CUG) mobile connections to TTEs, soon, Traveling Ticket Examiners will be at very close reach for rail passengers just with a phone call at times of emergency.

Train No.17230 / 17229 Hyderabad - Thiruvananthapuram - Hyderabad Sabari express trains will be temporarily augmented by one AC 3-tier coach ex Hyderabad from 03.12.2017 to 02.01.2018 and ex Thiruvananthapuram.
