Vandalur Zoo gets 7 new bird species
About 7 different bird species were locally rescued and kept quarantined at a Veterinary hospital for particular time period. These birds are now seen with good health. They are now kept for display for the visitors, say Zoo officials.

Buses commence operation from Madhavaram bus terminus to Andhra and Telangana
In order to reduce the increasing traffic congestion at the Chennai Mofussil bus terminus at Koyambedu, buses are to be operated from the Chennai Mahavaram multi-storeyed bus terminus to Andhra.
