New overbridge at 132 feet height at Kathipara in the 2nd Phase : Chennai Metro Officials
Kathipara, Guindy is the main entrance to the Chennai Metro City. The Chennai Metro Rail project officials have informed that a gigantic over-bridge is to be constructed at a height f 132 at Kathipara, Guindy, during the 2nd Phase of the Chennai Metro Rail project.

For the flood reduction works, Chennai city to get Rs 4500 crores

Just 7 women hostels in Chennai have been registered
There are many hostels for women in the city of Chennai. The latest news is out of these several hostels only 7 women hostels have been registered with the district collectorate till now. Only after model code of conduct or MCC for LS elections gets completed, then action against the unregistered women hostels in Chennai would be taken. This was as per the district collector.

Renovation of Childrens Park at Guindy at Rs. 1 Cores to make more attractive
In order to increase the number of visitors, renovations and modifications have been carried out in the Childrens Park located at Chennai, Guindy at a cost of Rs. 1 Crore. Also, additional facilities have been introduced for the animals.
