GCC Commissioner: Orders to close only public gathering avenues - no ban for food shops!
The Greater Chennai Corporation Commissioner Prakash informed that only the public places where the people gather in large numbers have been asked to close! There are no blocks for the food shops to operate!

Coronavirus: Greater Chennai Corporation orders malls closed!

In Chennai railway stations like Egmore, Central and Tambaram etc, platform ticket rates increased
The order was issued by the Chennai railway division to increase the platform ticket rate from Rs 10 per head to Rs 50 per head in 3 stations like Tambaram, Egmore and Chennai Central.
