Greater Chennai Corporation has announced that the public will not be allowed to visit the Chennai Beaches -Marina, Besant Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur, and Palavakkam.

Food being arranged for the roadside/pavement dwellers in the city: GCC
Accordingly, on the public curfew day, the houseless citizens living in the areas under the jurisdiction of GCC can join the above-mentioned 51 shelter-houses administered by GCC. On the public curfew day, food would be served to them on behalf of GCC.

Tamil Nadu State Government: Tasmac shops closed tomorrow (22nd March)!
As a preventive measure against coronavirus, various functions have been banned until 31st March. The state government of Tamil Nadu has announced that Tasmac shops will remain closed on 22nd March.

Lorry Owners Association has announced that lorries wont operate. Accordingly, the lorries would not operate throughout the state of Tamil Nadu on Sunday, 22nd March from 6.00 AM to 6.00 PM.
