Wind power total production capacity is 7,300 MW; after May 15, 2,100 MW was generated on a daily basis; however, this was reduced gradually.

Train delay due to maintenance and repair between Chengalpet to Dindivanum
The stations between Chengalpet and Dindivanum are under maintenance and repair so Pallavan, Cholan and Vaigai expresses will not reach Egmore station on time.

1 Kg onion Rs.40 at government shops- People are flocking to buy them
In government �Pasumai Pannai� the vegetables are sold at very nominal rates. One kg of onion is only Rs.40 where as the same is sold at Rs.60 and Rs.80 at other shops.

Power supply will be suspended in the following areas on Sept 06,2013 between 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. for maintenance work.Supply will be resumed before 5.00 P.M. if the works are completed.
