Patrol cycles were distributed for Chennai police for patrolling purposes.Last month Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa distributed 250 cycles to the policemen. These cycles are being utilized in all the police stations in Chennai.

Puzhal lake is one of the important reservoir which supplies water to Chennai City. The reservoir�s capacity is 3300 million cubic feet.The lake was filled to the brim because of heavy rains during the last year. Now because of the scorching heat, the water level is drastically coming down.
