Palm trees will stand guard for the citys about 25-km coastline
In order to sea erosion near the sea shore, the Chennai Corporation has decided to plant grow up palm trees. The fishermen residences near the sea shore in Foreshore Estate, Srinivasapuram and Ennore are severely eroded by sea.

Missing AN 32 being searched in 6 locations
