Amma canteens will soon make history by selling 50 crore idlis by next year.A senior government official said, Till date the city corporation through Amma canteens has sold a record of 33.60 crore idlis and 17.38 crore.

Jayalalithaa responding well to treatment
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa is now responding well to treatment and is on a normal diet. The Chief Minister was admitted to the Apollo Hospitals on Greams Road on Thursday with fever and dehydration.
