Ban on registration of land extended: Tamil Nadu given time till 27th February
The Chennai High Court has ordered the extension of the present ban on registration of agricultural lands as plots for housing. It has given the state government of Tamil Nadu time till 27th February.

Public attendance at Marina Beach reduced drastically due to 144
There were less people at Marina Beach though it was Sunday yesterday. There were protests in Chennai and Tamil Nadu in support of Jallikaatu. On the 7th day, the police took steps to disperse the protestors.

Protests in Marina Beach banned
