Residents who let out sewage water in the streets will be fined
The Tamil Nadu Government has decided to impose a penalty of Rs 1 Lakhs for the people who let out the sewage in the streets in Chennai. Similarly the government has mentioned that it will table a detailed report on infectious.

Ban on registration of land extended: Tamil Nadu given time till 27th February
The Chennai High Court has ordered the extension of the present ban on registration of agricultural lands as plots for housing. It has given the state government of Tamil Nadu time till 27th February.
