Rains in few places over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry
The cyclonic circulation which formed over the west-central Bay of Bengal off the Andhra Pradesh coast last week is still stationed there. In view of this there will be rains in few places over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the next 24 hours.

Rains expected in Tamil Nadu due to low-pressure
Since a low-pressure area has formed over the Bay of Bengal signalling a revival of the monsoon over Central India, continued wet session over parts of North-West India and the West Coast, there will be sporadic rains in Tamil Nadu.

Meteorological centre: Prospects of depression to be formed in Bay of Bengal
The Director of the Chennai Metro Meteorological Research Cenre, Mr. S. Balachandran has informed tat there are high prospects of a depression zone being formed in the Bay of Bengal.Mr. Balachandran shared information with press reporters today
