Banks given 50 day window to tender demonetised currency

ATMs to carry Rs. 2000 notes in a weeks time

On Friday, the usage of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 both of which are demonetized was extended. Accordingly, the government now allows using these rupee notes also for paying taxes, fees, fuel, and household utility bills.
