Cracks in the building because of CMRL work- Residents scared
Chennaites are sacred because of the cracks that occur during the work of the CMRL. As the tunneling work of Chennai Metro Rail paces ahead, several buildings have suffered cracks as result of this work.

Cyclone may not bring rainfall in Chennai

Non-stop AC Duronto train to run as Shatabdi trains
The Railway Board has approved to convert the non-stop AC Duronto train from Chennai to Coimbatore as a Shatabdi Express and the Duronto service to Thiruvananthapuram as an AC Superfast Express with Rajdhani fares from Friday.
