The recent upward revision of the Property Tax by the Metro Corporations, city corporations, and Panchayats is withdrawn. A new committee has been formed to revise the present Property Tax structure.

Rain in Chennai Today
Due to the low winds, rainfall was reported in Chennai and suburbs. Heavy rains were reported in Pallikarai, Medavakkam, Velachery, Pallavaram, Nanganallur, Arumbakkam, Choolamedu and Koyambedu.

The latest news is southern railway is working at a great pace to ready Adambakkam station. It is now revealed by a source that in January or in February 2020 MRTS services from Velachery up to Adambakkam would begin.

Lone Square Park at Broadway to reopened soon
Lone Square Park in Broadway was closed due to the metro rail construction work is known. 83 saplings have been planted in this park and the park has been restored with facilities for visitors and ready to reopen.

New regulation at tollgates: Pay double the toll if you enter FASTag lane
Owners of vehicles that are not fitted with FASTag (electronic toll collection) will be charged double the toll fee if they use FASTag lanes at toll plazas along national highways from the 1st of December!
