By the end of 2020, Thiru-vi-ka Park in Shenoy Nagar would be restored
Thiru-vi-ka park in Shenoy Nagar was closed down and trees were axed for the construction of metro rail. More than 12000 saplings have been planted at the 4 corners of the park using Miyawaki method, by the end of this year 2020.

Madras Medical Mission Hospital in Chennai have been analyzing many images of the heart and have found out that heart attacks in atleast 30 % younger persons could be caused due to blood vessels rupture also.

On 19th February 2020, TNPSC Group-4 certificate verification to be carried out
On Wednesday, 12th February, TNPSC had announced that certificate verification for Group-4 examinations would be conducted on 19th February 2020. This was after removing the tainted candidates from the selection list.

Restoration and to improving storage in 6 water bodies planned by WRD
A proposal to restore and improve storage of 6 water bodies in the districts of Kancheepuram, Chengalpet and Vellore districts at an estimated cost of Rs 298.38 crores, has been submitted by WRD.

Industrial park proposed by Ennore based Kamarajar Port trust rejected now
A proposal was made by Ennore based Kamarajar Port Trust to develop an industrial park in Ennore is known. This has been rejected now by the EAC or union environment ministry expert appraisal committee.
