Safety tips for bursting crackers by Chennai Police
Chennai Police have given 15 safety measures for bursting crackers.Crackers should be burst only from 6 am to 10 pm. it is an offence to manufacture, sell or burst crackers that emit noise beyond 125 decibels.

No deadline to link Aadhaar to ration cards
Food Minister R. Kamaraj informed that there was no time limit to link Aadhaar number with ration cards and essentials would be given at fair price shops to those card holders who failed to link Aadhaar.
