As anticipated Cyclone Ockhi failed to give heavy to extremely heavy rains over Gujarat as the cyclone has dissipated before reaching Gujarat coast.

Once the present system which is expected to become Depression goes away from us and fizzles out, we can have some moderate rains. So just wait for this cloud mass to fizzle / move away. This is robbing precious time of ours.

Depression likely in Bay of Bengal in 24 hrs, uncertainty over cyclone formation
The well-marked low pressure area over southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining south Andaman Sea continues to sustain its strength. In wake of this, heavy rains to extremely heavy rains have lashed southern parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Dry Bengaluru may witness light spells soon
Bengaluru is witnessing dry weather from the last 48 hours. Though December began on a rainy note for the capital of Karnataka when some rains showed upon the city.

Met dept predicts heavy rains in TN for next two days
The southern districts of Tamil Nadu has borne the brunt of the damages caused by the cyclone Okchi. Kanyakumari district, especially, has been most severely affected and has been cut off like an island.
