Most of the Centre now in land, those places which saw winds from North-North east / west will now see winds from opposite direction of South-South east / west.

The weathermen are now busy predicting the weather in Chennai. It must be taken into account that the south west monsoon that had arrived in Kerala has been responsible for some respite from the scorching heat in TN.

The onset of the Southwest Monsoon rainy season commenced in the State of Kerala today (Monday, 1st June). It rained heavily in several places including Thiruvananthapuram.
