Railways� Revenue Earnings up by 12.57 per cent during April 2014 - December 2014
The total approximate earnings of Indian Railways on originating basis during 1st April 2014 to 31st December 2014 were Rs. 114656.13 crore compared to Rs. 101856.45 crore during the same period last year, registering an increase of 12.57 per cent.

Premises of Some of Railway Stations will be used for Skill Development Activities: Suresh Prabhu
The Minister of Railways Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu said that Indian Railways has around 8000 stations and premises of some of the railway stations with very few trains and scanty footfall could be used for skill development activities.
