Customer helpline number 138 service begins in Chennai
As announced in the Railway Budget o�n 26.02.2015 by the Hon�ble Union Minister of Railways, customer helpline number 138 has been installed in all the Divisional �ommercial Controls of Southern Railway and made functional to handle all voice complaints.

13 more suburban stations will be enabled for UTS on mobile phones
The facility for booking unreserved suburban tickets o�n mobile phones was introduced o�n Southern Railway o�n 15.01.2015 with 5 stations o�n the sub-urban network selected from where journeys can commence.

Change in suburban train schedule
