Chennai to Arakkonam suburban train services to be cancelled on Saturday and Sunday nights
The following changes will be made in the design of suburban train services on the Chennai - Arakkonam section from January 30 to February 1 to assistance engineering works between Villivakkam and Ambattur.

Train No.12615 Chennai Central - Delhi Sarai Rohilla Grand Trunk express, scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 19.15 hrs. on 27.01.2016, has been rescheduled to leave Chennai Central at 22.30 hrs. on 27.01.2016 due to late running of pairing train.

Stringent Action from 1st February for passengers who give wrong age to avail senior citizen claim
If any passenger is caught of giving the wrong age detail in order to avail Senior Citizen facility, they would be considered as ticketless travelers.
