Travel insurance for train passengers effective from 1st September
Indian Railways are set to introduce the facility of travel insurance coverage for the passengers who book their tickets at the IRCTC website by paying a premium of Re. 1/-. This would be effective from 1st September.

Here is the easiest way to get privileged of having travel insurance. IRCTC in collaboration with ICICI Lombard General Insurance, Royal Sundaram and Shriram General has now come up with the new scheme for passengers, who get travel insurance at just one rupee.
