Changes in train services from 23rd to 27th February
Due to line block to facilitate the rebuilding of Railway bridge between Mankara and Lakkiti Railway stations in Palakkad Division from 23rd to 27th February 2017, following changes will be made to train services on this section.

Changes in pattern of train services
Works for Complete Track Renewal are being taken up between Minjur � Gummidipundi and these works will be carried out from 17.02.2017 to 28.04.2017. Changes in pattern of train services will be notified in phases.

New door locking mechanism on trains soon
Train coaches will now be fitted with an automatic door locking mechanism soon. Under the new system to be controlled by train guard from his cabin, all doors will automatically open when a train arrives at station.
